Wow! This episode, like so many on Canine Conversations, blew me away. I am a committed positive reinforcement based trainer. And, there are times when I have understood at a gut dog trainer level the value of structure and rule setting as a means of creating a reliable, stable environment for our dogs - but did not feel I had the right language or scientifically-derived examples to articulate the ideas and help
clients implement protocols. This session provided just the tools I needed to create training that brings choice and autonomy together with stability and structure. Thank you so much, Kim Brophey and Kayla Fratt!
